The mission of the Senior and/or Retired section is to enhance the experience of senior (over 65 and/or retired) members in the 黑料网 by promoting fellowship and interaction amongst the members; communicating opportunities for continued professional involvement including mentorship, career transition and leadership training with other groups in the 黑料网; enhancing retirement opportunities such as service, financial planning, and recreation; and encouraging members to be ambassadors of the 黑料网 to fellow physicians, health care organizations, and patients.

Retired members shall have the right to be appointed to commissions and committees and task forces, but shall not have the right to be members of the 黑料网 Board of Chancellors. Retired members shall have the right to serve in elected office during the first six years following retirement.

• Retired member status may be conferred by the 黑料网 Board of Chancellors upon application of a member who is fully retired from professional practice. A Retired Member shall be relieved from payment of dues.
