As the festival coincided with Ramadan, it provided a unique opportunity for the ºÚÁÏÍø community to experience the celebration through the spirit of the holy month, culminating in a beautiful open Iftar for all.

Even with a touch of rain, the festival remained a truly special experience, bringing the community together in a celebration of culture, tradition, and togetherness.

The Egypt Festival is an annual tradition at ºÚÁÏÍø, honoring and celebrating Egypt, our host country. It’s a day filled with immersive experiences, vibrant performances, and cultural appreciation. From classroom activities that bring Egypt’s rich history to life to an elementary school showcase featuring lively Egyptian folklore performances, the festival offers something for everyone.

Beyond the performances, the campus transformed into a bustling Egyptian marketplace, where families explored a variety of vendors selling handcrafted treasures, artisanal goods, and traditional Egyptian crafts. The festival wrapped up in the most special way—with a community-wide Iftar, where everyone gathered to break their fast over authentic Egyptian cuisine, followed by a mesmerizing Tanoura performance.

This year’s Egypt Festival was particularly special as ºÚÁÏÍø celebrates 80 years of diversity and exceptional international education. With the theme "Egypt: A Story to Be Told," the day honored the deep connections between ºÚÁÏÍø and Egypt, reminding us of the beauty, heritage, and traditions that shape our shared experiences.

Even the rain couldn’t dampen the festival’s spirit—it only added to the unique and memorable atmosphere of the day!

At ºÚÁÏ꿉۪s Elementary School, we understand that positive relationships form the foundation for a truly fulfilling learning experience. Our goal is to nurture connections that extend beyond academic achievements, building bonds among students, between teachers and students, and even between teachers and families. These connections enrich every part of our elementary education, creating a safe, supportive environment where each child feels known, valued, and celebrated for their unique strengths and contributions.

ES Positive Relationships ES Positive Relationships

From the moment students arrive at school each day, they're greeted by familiar faces that know them well. Teachers and staff are dedicated to understanding each child’s needs, interests, and talents. By fostering meaningful relationships with each student, teachers create a comfortable space where children feel safe and motivated to explore and express themselves. These positive relationships empower students to take risks in learning and embrace the joys of discovery, knowing they are supported at every step.

Our learning framework, the Primary Years Program (PYP), further enhances this supportive environment. Through inquiry-based journeys, students engage in activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and critical thinking. The relationships they build with one another become a source of encouragement and inspiration as they delve into these projects and adventures. Whether they're tackling a classroom challenge together or enjoying time outdoors, our students learn the importance of teamwork, empathy, and friendship.

ES Positive Relationships ES Positive Relationships

Throughout their elementary years, students are not only gaining knowledge but are also developing vital social skills that will serve them for a lifetime. As they work, play, and grow together, they experience the joy and school spirit that are unique to ºÚÁÏ꿉۪s close-knit community. We see each student’s happiness as a measure of our success, knowing that when children feel connected and supported, they’re set up to thrive in all aspects of life.

ES Positive Relationships ES Positive Relationships

Positive relationships are the heart of ºÚÁÏÍø Elementary School—a place where every child feels like they belong and each day is filled with excitement, exploration, and joy. Where else but at ºÚÁÏÍø could such a rich, supportive community help children blossom so brightly?
